ZooMinder ("we", "our", "the app") is a subscription-based mobile application designed to help pet owners
manage their pet profiles and medication schedules. We are committed to protecting your privacy and
ensuring the security of your personal information.
2. App Functionality
Pet Management
Our application allows you to:
- Register pet profiles: Store information about your pets including name, species,
breed, age, and photos
- Track medications: Manage medication schedules, dosages, and frequencies for each
pet
- Set reminders: Receive notifications for medication times
- Cloud synchronization: Securely sync your data across devices (Premium only)

- Encrypted data: All your data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Account-based access: Your data is protected by secure authentication
- Cross-device sync: Access your pet information from any device
3. Information We Collect
ZooMinder collects and stores the following information:
- Account information: Email address for authentication and account recovery
- Pet information: Name, species, breed, age, and optional photos
- Medication data: Medication names, dosages, frequencies, and schedules
- Subscription data: Subscription status and billing information (processed by app
stores)
- Usage data: App usage patterns to improve our service and detect abuse

The information collected is used to:
- Provide and maintain the ZooMinder service
- Sync your pet profiles and medication schedules across devices
- Send medication reminders and notifications
- Process and manage your subscription
- Detect and prevent abuse of the service

5. Data Storage & Security
- Secure cloud storage: Data is stored on secure, encrypted servers
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256)

- Data retention: Your data is retained while your account is active and deleted upon

ZooMinder may request the following device permissions:

8. Billing & Cancellation
- Subscription billing: Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Google Play
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours
before the end of the current period
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play
settings
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled according to Google Play policies
- Downgrade: Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of
the billing period
9. Acceptable Use Policy
To ensure a fair experience for all users, the following usage limits and policies apply:
Abuse Prevention
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Attempt to circumvent subscription limits through multiple accounts
- Use automated tools or bots to interact with the service
- Share account credentials with others
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or burdens our infrastructure
- Violate these Terms of Service
Fair Use Policy: Premium accounts include unlimited pets and medications. However,
accounts with more than 50 pets or more than 500 total medications may be subject to verification to
ensure compliance with our terms and prevent automated or commercial abuse. If you have legitimate
professional use requiring these higher volumes (veterinary clinics, pet care facilities, etc.), please
contact us at inf.carlos@outlook.com to verify your account.
Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
credentials and for all activities under your account.
10. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: View all your data directly in the app
- Modify: Edit or update any information at any time
- Delete: Remove any pet profile or medication record
- Export: Request a copy of your data
- Account deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
Account Deletion
You have the right to request permanent deletion of your account at any
time. To delete your account:
- Send an email to inf.carlos@outlook.com with the subject "Account Deletion
Request"
- Include your registered email address in the request
- Your account and all associated data (pets, medications, history) will be permanently deleted
within 30 days
- This action is irreversible and cannot be undone
- If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled automatically
11. Children's Privacy
ZooMinder is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided
us with personal information, please contact us.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the
new terms in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after such
changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
