Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using ZooMinder ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

ZooMinder is a pet health management application that provides: • Pet profile management • Medication reminders and scheduling • Veterinary appointment tracking • Health history records • Family sharing capabilities • Cloud backup and sync The App is designed as a personal organizational tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate and complete information • Maintain the security of your account credentials • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

ZooMinder offers a free tier with core features and a Premium subscription with additional capabilities including unlimited pet profiles, unlimited medications, and family sharing. Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play. Subscription terms, pricing, billing, and cancellation are governed by Google Play's terms and policies. We do not process payments directly. Features available in free and premium plans may change over time. We will provide reasonable notice before removing features from the free tier.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into ZooMinder, including pet information, medical records, and photos ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service. We will not use your User Content for any other purpose without your explicit consent. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. While we provide cloud backup features, we do not guarantee against data loss.

You agree not to: • Use the App for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App • Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure • Create accounts using automated means • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties • Use the App to store content unrelated to pet health management

ZooMinder is a pet health organization tool, not a medical service. The App does not provide veterinary advice, diagnose conditions, or recommend treatments. Medication reminders are based on schedules you configure. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions regarding your pet's health. Never delay seeking veterinary care based on information in the App. We are not liable for any health outcomes related to the use or misuse of the App.

We strive to keep ZooMinder available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We may release updates that modify, add, or remove features. Some updates may be required to continue using the App. The offline-first design ensures core functionality remains available without an internet connection.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZooMinder and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium services in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

You may stop using ZooMinder and delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to export it, after which it will be permanently deleted.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
